The Knowledge view
Knowledge renders as a standard table view (all the controls in Data Views apply: search, filter pills, category tabs, columns, CSV export). Entries are sorted by importance by default. What you see follows your active department and each entry’s visibility scope.Anatomy of a knowledge entry
Creating knowledge
- In Chat: type
/learnfollowed by your text, click Save as Knowledge under any assistant reply, or use + New entry in the context picker. A confirm card lets you adjust every field before saving, and warns if a similar entry already exists. - In the view: the Add button opens the same field layout as the record detail.
- By agents: agents with the Save Knowledge permission can write entries; agents can also maintain a living knowledge document as their output target (see Agents), and the nightly self-learning sweep can propose new entries for admin approval (see Skills & SOPs).
Editing and history
Click an entry to open its detail popup. Edit fields and Save changes. On history-enabled views the History tab shows every saved version with a field-level diff and per-version Restore.How agents use knowledge
- Always-load: entries with importance ≥ 8 in your scope are injected automatically — the context meter in Chat shows exactly which ones.
- Pinned: an agent can be pinned to specific entries it always reads (Agents › Skills & Tools › Memory & Knowledge).
- On demand: agents and chat search knowledge with recall tools;
/recallin Chat shows you the same results.
